For the first time, the NJCU Art Department has been holding its BFA Exhibition at Kearny Point because of the largest ever crop of 30 graduates. Please drop in on the final set of artist talks. Each artist will speak in front of their artwork briefly. Families are welcome.
The three sculptors who are showing in the Visual Arts Gallery (100 Culver Avenue, Jersey City) will give their talks first from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Then, the audience will move to Keany Points. Some rides will be available.
Exhibiting Artists are: Suellisse Acevedo, Camille Ancheta, Fred Benitez, Luke Blanchard, Bridget Bradley, Grace Carrero, Karon Clerk, Stephanie Durante, Christian Escobar, Akilah Frank, Pedro Fresse, Jeffrey Getugi, Daniel Gomez, Zafiro Hernandez, Chloe Jakovics, Alissa Laurie , Krystle Lemonias, Shakia Lewis, Alazne Maestro, Nelson Martins, Keturah McKenzie, Remon Rasmy, Victoria Rozario, Shayne Taylor, Lennox Thom, Jennifer Torres, Anthony Tran, Ron Wise, and Zugeiy Yepez.
If you cannot make this time, the exbition at Keany will be open this Thursday – Sunday, 12 – 6 p.m. Visual Arts Gallery will be open through Friday, 2: 30 p.m.
